Ladies News Miscues writes Miscues Ladies Open kicked off at 10.00am Saturday morning with 34 entrants.
The draw provided some tough games in the first round i.e. Jackie Baker (Engalnd team captain) v Sharon Dickson (Welsh International), Kaz Tomkinson (Ex England International) v Amanda Speight (South Yorkshire County player) etc etc. Sharon and Amanda both getting the upper hand on their opponents. Games were flowing well and there was some excellent play. That said it was very relaxed, enjoyable and light hearted.
Lynette Horsburgh, Amy Hallas, Lyndsey Roberts and Julie Mackintosh secured their place in the semi final of the main event, which was to be played on the Sunday..
